Overbury's Folly is situated at the top of a hill and it is close to Thalassery Court and Municipal Stadium. Overbury's Folly is a recreational park managed and developed by Thalassery heritage tourism circuit. It is located near Thalassery Municipal stadium. Usually, people come here to view the sunset, This park is named its builder E. N. Overbury, who worked as a local judge at Thalassery in the 1870s. Basically, it was started as an evening picnic spot in 1879. The construction work of this place was completed by Municipal chairman of Thalassery R. Mukunda Malla in the 19th century. You can visit the Sub collector's bungalow near of Overbury's Folly.
Generally, visitors visit this spot to spend their evening watching the amazing scene of the surrounding Arabian sea. There is an air coffee shop you can enjoy there. You can take the relax and watch the sunset.
Entry timings and tickets: Overbury's Folly is open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Visitors have to need to pay 10 rupees as an entry fee. A snack bar and washrooms are available for the visitors. There are several benches for the visitors where they can do some relax.

9 am to 4 pm is entry time there. The cost of the ticket there is 20 rupees for adult and 10 rupees for children. One of the best thing about the Alakapuri Waterfalls we can notice that the Forest department provides the insurance cover to visitors.
